Medico Construction Equipment, with locations in Wilkes-Barre and Stroud Township, Pa., has for many years offered contractors in northeastern and central Pennsylvania quality construction products such as Case, Hitachi, Takeuchi and Wacker Neuson, just to name a few.

Erin O'Malley has joined Medico Industries as a light equipment sales representative. She will be representing Medico Industries promoting Case skid steers, compact track loaders and compact excavators. She also will be handling other lines such as Wacker Neuson, Atlas Copco, Epiroc, AGL, Leica, Efficiency, Grundomat and Husqvarna.

In 1938, oil was discovered in Saudi Arabia, Howard Hughes set a new record by completing a 91-hour airplane flight around the world, and Nick Manganaro, of Pittston, began a 77-year career at Medico Electric Motor Company that continues today at Medico Industries, Inc.

William Vinsko is retiring from Medico Industries after 41 years of service to that company with 16 years as a salesman on the road and 25 years as a sales manager. He completed many sales schools and product and management courses including P&H, Case, Wacker, AED, ARA and others.

Philip Medico will be entering the position of sales manager of Medico Industries Inc. He has been with Medico for the past 17 years, the first four managing the Pocono branch, and the following 13 years in heavy equipment sales. Philip is the son of President and CEO Thomas Medico and is the third generation of family at Medico Industries.

One day in the future, residents of New Milford, Pa., will be driving on smooth roads, rather than the dirt roads they’re accustomed to, courtesy of the gas company. But until that time, New Milford, located in northeastern Pennsylvania, in the heart of the Marcellus shale drilling area, is finding its local roads suffering from the equipment being driven back and forth on them.

KCMA Corporation welcomed Medico Industries to its nationwide team of dealers dedicated to sales and support of its wheel loaders. “We are thrilled about adding the Kawasaki product to our wide range of offerings to the contractor market,” said Bill Vinsko, sales manager of Medico Industries.
