The Steffes Group will return to live auctions when bidders gather in Horace, N.D., on July 8. The event will mark 117 days since the company's most recent live auction. Meanwhile, the company has continued with scores of successful online auctions of machinery, land and other assets.

After more than a decade of working together as one great team, Whayne Supply and Walker Machinery now move forward under one brand: Boyd CAT, led by current president and CEO Monty Boyd. Boyd announced the name change will take immediate effect across both internal and external channels.

RC Mowers recently welcomed a Midwest family of companies — Trenchers Plus of Burnsville, Minn.; L.F. George of Wisconsin; and Midwest Underground Supply of South Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa — to its dealer network. Trenchers Plus and its affiliates are now offering another option for slope brush mowing with remote control to customers.

When the unprecedented and historical flooding started in the Missouri and Platte River basins in March 2019, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District responded immediately. Within hours, the District, led by the Readiness Branch, was developing plans and sending materials out to fight the flood and provide assistance to communities within harm's way.

What would become Burris Equipment Co. began in the late 1920s as a highway garage, deriving most of its business from the heavy Chicago-Wisconsin traffic. With the installation of Route 41, the company emerged as a dealership in the 1930s. In 1931, Burris Implement was opened on the original site of the Waukegan Regional Airport by Linden and May Burris.

During September, Foley Equipment hosted a series of mini-excavator demonstrations in Wichita, Kan.; Manhattan, Kan.; Topeka, Kan.; and Kansas City, Mo. All events took place on the grounds of the Foley facilities, with the exception of the Manhattan event, which was held at the Kansas State University Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

Doosan Infracore North America LLC, has expanded its dealer network with three additional locations of Central Power Systems & Services LLC, as an authorized sales, service, parts and rental provider of Doosan equipment. Central Power Systems & Services now offers its customers in greater Oklahoma City, Liberty, Mo., and Wichita, Kan., a range of Doosan equipment, including crawler excavators, wheel excavators, log loaders, material handlers, articulated dump trucks and wheel loaders.

A major Kansas contractor is quickly building a replacement for a key interchange in Liberty, Mo., a northeast suburb of Kansas City, with high hopes that the project will be open to traffic by Labor Day weekend. Increasingly heavy traffic at the intersection of Interstate 35 and state Route 152 led Missouri's Department of Transportation (MoDOT) to contract with Miles Excavating Inc.

Minnich Manufacturing, a manufacturer of concrete dowel pin drills, concrete vibrators and vibrator monitoring systems, has added Farrell Equipment & Supply Co. to its dealer network in Wisconsin and Minnesota. For more than 50 years, family-owned Farrell Equipment & Supply Co.

Southeastern Equipment Company announces that Brian Burket is the new regional sales manager for Southeastern's Michigan branches and Marty Clements is the new branch manager for the company's Burlington, Ky., location. Burket's responsibilities include managing the regional sales team while overseeing the parts and service departments of each individual Michigan branch.
