Duane Bonini has been named vice president of RDO Equipment Co. 's Vermeer division. As of Dec. 1 Bonini is overseeing all RDO's domestic Vermeer operations, which includes California, Hawaii, Minnesota, North Dakota, Oregon and northern Nevada.
Bonini grew up in the construction industry, working as a Vermeer equipment operator and service technician, then worked for his family's Vermeer dealerships in Northern California prior to joining RDO in 2008 as a Vermeer grinder salesman for the Southern California region.
The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) reports that construction on the state's second longest bridge has reached its midway completion point. The 2,635-ft.-long flyover will connect northbound U.S. Highway 95 to the westbound 215 Beltway in northwest Las Vegas.
