Pettibone/Traverse Lift LLC announced the addition of Palmer Johnson Power Systems to its dealer network. Palmer Johnson will carry Pettibone Extendo and Traverse telehandlers and Cary-Lift pipe and pole handlers for southern and central California, while focusing strictly on the Extendo and Traverse product lines in the state of Washington.

Palmer Johnson Power Systems (PJ), an off-highway power train and aerial machine repair service organization, is celebrating its second consecutive year of 365 days with zero lost time injuries. Palmer Johnson has over 50 factory trained technicians and 110 employees spread across the Midwest and West Coast.

JLG recently announced the appointment of Palmer Johnson Power Systems as an Authorized Ground Support Service Provider for the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. Palmer Johnson’s Minnesota service center becomes the seventh Palmer Johnson location awarded JLG Authorized Service Provider status.

Palmer Johnson Power Systems recently announced the upcoming retirement of Los Angeles service manager Geoff Lord, effective December 31, 2013. After leaving the army as a platoon sergeant in 1968 with both a Bronze Star and Purple Heart, Lord began his career selling diesel engines.

Palmer Johnson Power Systems has announced the promotion of George Bonney from service technician to service manager at its St. Louis, Mo., branch. Bonney has been with Palmer Johnson for more than two years and brings more than 11 years of service experience to the position.

Manitowoc recently certified Palmer Johnson Power Systems as an EnCORE partner. Manitowoc Crane Care EnCORE is a branded rebuild, repair, re-manufacture and exchange program. EnCORE has been designed with customers’ productivity and sustainability in mind.

JLG appointed Palmer Johnson Power Systems as an authorized service provider of Oklahoma City. The Oklahoma City branch becomes the fourth Palmer Johnson branch awarded JLG Authorized Service Provider status. The Arizona and Kansas branches were awarded authorized status in 2010 along with northern California in 2011.

Palmer Johnson Power Systems is hosting an Open House at its recently expanded Dallas Texas Branch on Thursday, May 17th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The branch recently expanded into a 30,000 square foot sales and service center. The new facility includes over 25,000 square feet of service and shop space along with a dedicated training room for on-site service training, a 400 horsepower electric dyno and four crane rail systems with lifting capacities up to 5 tons.

Palmer Johnson Power Systems has two new developments in its partnership with ZF Services North America. The off-highway division of ZF Services North America has expanded Palmer Johnson’s authorized territory to include Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

Palmer Johnson Power Systems’s (PJ Power) Kansas City location hosted an open house to welcome customers and vendors to its new, larger branch location at 7800 Nieman Road in Lenexa, Mo. Representatives from Twin Disc and ZF brought give-away items and customers and employees’ families enjoyed an afternoon BBQ and raffle prizes.

Palmer Johnson Power Systems has added Kurt Schroeder as the outside sales representative for southern California. Schroeder has extensive experience in the off-highway industry; most recently, he worked at Harbor Diesel & Equipment as the sales manager of its ZF Division in southern California.
