Four SDLG excavators — three E660FL and an E6500F — helped expedite construction of two hospitals in Wuhan, China, as part of the government's effort to treat patients with coronavirus infections and ease the shortage of hospital beds.

Chinese construction equipment manufacturer SDLG announced the latest addition to its range of motorgraders, the G9290. With a base operating weight of 25.2 tons (22.9 t) and a 14 in. (35.5 cm) wide blade as standard, the productivity of blade down force and blade pull makes the SDLG G9290 the best in its size class, according to the manufacturer.

After six months of intense trials across Asia, SDLG has crowned the three winners of its first competition on machine service skills in the region. The inaugural SDLG service skills competition challenged dealer technicians on machine knowledge, diagnostics and maintenance to boost service technicians' skills.

In the past, Gleason Johndrow Landscaping and Snow Management (Gleason Johndrow), a U.S.-based contracting company, had to rent construction equipment for snow removal projects. Partner Rentals, a Kingston, N.Y.-based equipment rental house, is adding SDLG wheel loaders to its fleet. The company needed loaders for its rental customers that mainly work in landscaping, snow removal and light construction, and found that SDLG's value proposition was ideal for a small rental company for several reasons.
