In response to sustained demand for personal protective equipment (PPE) as a result of COVID-19, Mack Trucks donated approximately 500 pieces of PPE that it manufactured at its Lehigh Valley Operations (LVO) plant in Macungie, Pa. "The Mack team is committed to doing what we can to help the communities in which we live and work, and I'm very proud of our LVO employees for stepping up to produce PPE during the coronavirus pandemic," said Rickard Lundberg, vice president and general manager at LVO.

Mack Defense has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to supply the full range of Mack-branded products to federal agencies for a variety of applications. The one-year contract, which runs to January 2021, includes two additional GSA-optioned one-year extensions, which could push the contract through 2022.
