World of Asphalt 2018

Houston, Texas welcomes the World of Asphalt Show & Conference March 6-8, 2018. Over 350 of the industry's leading manufacturers and service providers in the aggregate, asphalt, pavement maintenance, and traffic safety industry sectors come together at World of Asphalt to showcase their latest products and technologies.

Roadtec debuted its auto cut technology at World of Asphalt. Auto cut comes standard on the company's RX-600 cold planer. Auto cut allows milling machine operators to easily raise the mill, walk over obstacles, walk back into the cut, and resume milling at same depth, without reprogramming or delay, according to the manufacturer.

Washing equipment specialists, McCloskey Washing Systems (MWS), launched a new product line – The Compact Sand Plant (CSP) at the AGG1 and World of Asphalt Show, March 6 - 8, 2018 in Houston, Texas. The new additions to the MWS product range are compact sand plants, CSP 60, CSP 120, CSP 200 and CSP 250 single and twin sand plants.

The latest wheeled excavators from Volvo Construction Equipment — the short swing EWR150E and EWR170E, and the conventional swing EW220E — give contractors three new models to choose from to take advantage of the versatility and mobility offered by wheeled machines.
