Tuition rate increases are becoming a yearly event at college campuses around the nation and scholarships are becoming an increasingly important part of the average student’s tuition funds.
At the 44th Annual Distribution Contractors Association Convention (DCA), held in Lake Buena Vista, FL, Ingersoll-Rand helped raise money for scholarships. The DCA organized an auction during the convention and Ingersoll-Rand Construction Technologies donated a Club Car Carryall 272 to be put up for bid.
Dennis Klumb Sr. was the high bidder. Klumb is company principal of KS Energy Services, a utility contractor located in East Troy, WI. In addition to its recently acquired Club Car, KS Energy Services has a fleet of 10 Ingersoll-Rand portable air compressors.
