Ingersoll-Rand has expanded its dealer network with the addition of Bobcat of Beaumont, also known as Shepard Equipment Inc., as a new utility products dealer.

Based in Beaumont, TX, Bobcat of Beaumont serves customers throughout southeastern Texas. The dealership extends its service throughout Tyler, Jasper, Newton, Hardin, Jefferson and Orange counties.

According to the company, Bobcat of Beaumont became an Ingersoll-Rand equipment dealer because of significant increases in construction work in southeast Texas that require a wide range of equipment.

Manager Jim Boucher said customers are happy to now have local support for their Ingersoll-Rand equipment and are impressed by the scope of equipment available.

“Contractors now have a new, locally owned dealership that offers the equipment they need either for rent or for purchase,” said Boucher. “As importantly, they will be assured of excellent service and parts availability.”

Bobcat of Beaumont carries a wide range of Ingersoll-Rand utility equipment, including wheel loaders, excavators, backhoe loaders, compressors, generators, small asphalt compactors, small soil compactors, light compaction, utility material handling, light towers and concrete equipment.

“If local customers need equipment for the short-, medium-, or long-term, we have ways to get it into their hands. We have great equipment, great financing programs, and great support after the sale,” said Boucher.

Bobcat of Lake Charles

Ingersoll-Rand also has added Bobcat of Lake Charles, also known as Lake Charles Machinery, as a new utility products dealer.

Based in Lake Charles, LA, Bobcat of Lake Charles serves customers throughout the southwestern Louisiana area. The dealership extends its service through Calcasieu, Allen, Beauregard, Jefferson Davis and Cameron parishes.

“We are excited about the potential to expand our product offerings and grow our customer base,” said Mark Shepard, manager of the dealership. “Our experience with Bobcat products has convinced us that the quality of Ingersoll-Rand products is top-notch.”

Bobcat of Lake Charles also carries the full range of Ingersoll-Rand utility equipment and Shepard sees the benefit of carrying more complete lines of machinery for customers.

“Our customers have often expressed a desire to have a wider selection of equipment available from us. They are enthusiastic about Ingersoll-Rand’s developments in concrete products, forklifts, air tools, and other fields,” said Shepard.

“Now we are reducing the number of stops they need to make when acquiring equipment for their jobs. We will serve as a resource for sales, maintenance, and support of the Ingersoll-Rand products they already own and those they will acquire from us,” he added.
