A nice display of equipment was on hand like this Cat TLB 416C that went for $17,250. Mark Steinmetz of Carson, N.D., came all the way down and picked up this Case 9010 excavator. Steinmetz said he will be putting this machine to work right away. Bruce Reed, owner of Reed’s Equipment Sales, St. Cloud, Minn., said he is looking for any good deals he can get his hands on, maybe this nice  John Deere 322 track machine. This John Deere 544E wheel loader was picked up for $24,000 by Kurt Fleischhacker and will be used at Freddy’s Chicks to move manure out of Paynesville, Minn., for fertilizer. With 61 years in the gravel business, Edwin Siekierzynski of Edwin Siekierzynski Trucking and Excavating, knows his equipment. He is looking to add an excavator like this Komatsu 400LC. “The Foley Street Department,” Don Jones (L), owner of Jones Auto out of Hollandale, Minn., jumps on and checks out this Broce Broom 5WG1 sweeper, old school machine driven to the auction pad by I.R.A.Y. driver Steve Binczik. Heavy equipment operator out of Fort Ripley, Minn., is Rich Dumprope looking to pick up a TLB. Colonel Ray Henry, owner of I.R.A.Y. Auctions and head auctioneer of the day’s festivities, welcomed all the auction attendees.

I.R.A.Y. Auction hosted a large sale June 7 in Foley, Minn., bringing big prices and making big companies happy with the results.

Demand and prices were both up. I.R.A.Y. added a live video cast to improve the internet buyer’s experience. Buyers ranged from the Dakotas to overseas. The company’s next auction will be on Sept. 13.
