Irvine Team Promotes Veteran Manager Lorrie Foreman to Senior Vice President

Irvine Team announced that Lorrie D. Foreman has been promoted to senior vice president.

Foreman is widely recognized as one of the most influential women in the construction industry.

With more than 20 years of experience in managing the architectural design and commercial construction of technically sophisticated buildings, Foreman recently spearheaded Irvine Team’s highly publicized $95 million renovation that transformed Houston’s Compaq Center into the new home for Lakewood Church, the nation’s largest and fastest-growing non-denominational mega church.

Over the course of the 15-month project, Foreman formed and managed 50 expert third-party contractors and consultants who performed 1.4 million man-hours of service.

Foreman joined Irvine Team in February 2003 as director – project delivery and was promoted in February 2004 to vice president – operations.

Over the course of her career, Foreman has developed successful strategies for delivering difficult projects in time frames that have met clients’ pressing needs, including the commercial construction of a performing arts center, a transportation complex, a manufacturing facility, engineering and research laboratories, test facilities and office buildings, as well as several facilities renovations.

Foreman was 1995 Engineer of the Year for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, graduated from the Navy Executive Leadership Program, and served as an advisor to the chief of Naval Operation’s Pentagon staff.
