Joey Martin Auctioneers Holds Sale in Thomson

Joey Martin Auctioneers made quick work of auctioning a package of trucks, trailers and equipment in Thomson, Ga., on Nov. 20. The sale included pieces from Augusta, Ga., area trucking and equipment firms, and drew a nice crowd of bidders.

This was the next to last auction of the year for Joey Martin Auctioneers, with the final sale of 2019 being held at the company's permanent sale site in Carrollton, Ga., on Dec. 13. CEG

Folks came out early to inspect some of the earthmoving and compaction machines before the auctioning began.

Some of the machines and service trucks in the sale lineup came from Thomson-based Interstate Equipment Company (IEC). Monitoring the pricing of their sale items are Jon and Paul McCorkle and Danny Beckworth of IEC.

The trucks in the sale brought on some heavy onsite and online bidding.

A nice selection of compact and mid-sized machines went on the auction block during the Thomson, Ga., sale.
