Construction Equipment Guide

KCMA Corporation, formerly known as Kawasaki Construction Machinery Corp. of America, is conducting a “Loader Legend Contest”. The contest was announced Sept. 1 and will run through Jan. 15, 2011.

Kawasaki is looking for older, operational Kawasaki wheel loaders that have become a legend in their own right. What makes a Kawasaki loader a Legend? The performance, the challenging environment, its age, number of hours, or extraordinary application. Perhaps the loader participated in a historic event. Every loader has a story, and Kawasaki is interested in hearing all about it.

Based on the submitted entries Kawasaki will select five of the most legendary stories as semi-finalists. Each storyteller, and wheel loader owner, will win $100 gift cards for the Kawasaki online store. Each of the semi-finalists will be interviewed for the Loader Legends issue of FOCUS Magazine, and from them a winner will be determined.

The owner, and the storyteller of the most legendary Kawasaki wheel loader, will each win $1,000.
