After a series of 65th anniversary celebrations at its North Carolina and South Carolina locations, Linder Industrial Machinery hosted open house events in the Sunshine State to commemorate its anniversary.

The open houses were at Linder's facilities in Pembroke Pines, Miami, on Nov. 6 and Plant City, Tampa, on Nov 8.

A terrific turnout of customers joined the entire Linder staff and their families at each location, enjoying barbecue, giveaways, and prize drawings. Some big coolers and flat-screen TVs were the grand prizes at the events.

Manufacturers' reps from Komatsu, Wirtgen, Paladin, Terramac, CemenTech, Carlson, Trimble, and others came out to lend a hand to completely support the success of the event and also donated many of the prize drawings and giveaways.

At the corporate headquarters event in Plant City, Corey Wall of Wirtgen Group presented John Coughlin, Linder president, and Chris Wilkes, executive vice-president, with a plaque to commemorate the 65th anniversary milestone.

The events featured static displays of Komatsu dirt-moving machines, Wirtgen road-building equipment, Carlson pavers, CemenTech volumetric cement mixers, Terramac crawler carriers, Paladin attachments, Trimble positioning technologies and others, as well as Linder field service and support equipment.

Complete tours of the buildings and grounds were provided for those who had never had a chance to see the inner workings of the branch facilities.

Komatsu and Linder technology experts were on hand to provide a complete demonstration of Komatsu's SmartConstruction technology in conjunction with the newest Komatsu intelligent Machine Control dozers.

Visitors at each event could sense the pride employees took at being part of the Linder team, and customers who came out for the celebration also were considered part of the Linder family.
