Machinery Auctioneers Hosts Auction at Odessa Facility

This 40-ton boom truck caught the attention of Luke Copeland (L) of Cope Equipment and Truck and Lee Bishop of LEB Truck and Equipment. Both businesses are located in Georgia.

It’s all about oil in Odessa. Don Gray of Terra Oilfield Solutions, Houston, was shopping for an excavator his company could use for solids control in the oilfields of the Permian Basin. The Volvo EC240B would probably do the trick.

Lewis Flores of LF Well Service was bidding on equipment for his Farmington, N.M.-based company that services oil and gas wells. The Doosan G40 generator was on his wish list.

Just a few of the many trucks that went up for sale at the Odessa auction.

Machinery Auctioneers held a public auction of construction equipment, trucks, trailers and oilfield equipment at its Odessa, Texas, facility on June 26. Buyers were invited to bid from the comfort of Machinery Auctioneers' air-conditioned auditorium, where they were able to view items up for sale.

More than 300 lots of equipment were available, including backhoes, trailers, trucks, workover rigs, dozers, loaders and more from manufacturers including New Holland, Caterpillar, Doosan, Kenworth, Mack, John Deere and more. In total, 450 active bidders participated in Machinery Auctioneers' sale on site and online.
