Shawn O’Connor of Piedmont Concrete Services, Gainesville, Ga., looks to buy a curb machine and a wheel loader. Bob McKay (L) and Tyler Howell, both of McKay Construction, Waynesville, N.C., weren’t looking for anything in particular, but hoped something would pique their interest. Checking the undercarriage and a few other things on this Caterpillar excavator are Charlie Leachman (L) and Chet Crumley, both of Leachman Farms, Commerce, Ga. This lower hour Komatsu dozer was in work-ready condition and several prospective bidders stopped to check it out, (L-R) including Dallas and Bill Robertson, both of B.T. M. Machinery, Charleston, S.C.; and Gary Higgins and Ken Pangle, both of Pangle Cons Bill McMahan of BC&D Associates, Cullowhee, N.C., was selling his Komatsu excavator. This Cat 287C compact track loader with a grader attachment caught the eye of Doug Grasty (L) and Conley Bradley of Dennis Franklin Grading, Waynesville, N.C. Getting the next bidder on this Cat D6H dozer is David Jewell of Martin & Martin Auction Company. Joey Martin (L) and Ross McMillan Jr. auctioned off several thousand pieces during the very successful two-day auction.

Martin & Martin Auction Company held another successful auction at its permanent auction facility March 31 in Pelzer, S.C.

Bidders vied for an extensive selection of equipment in an enclosed, heated building, which was welcomed on a cold, rainy day.
