The event brought together customers, employees, suppliers and community members to commemorate a century of service while showcasing the equipment, technology and partnerships that continue to drive the fourth-generation family business forward.

Attendees watched live equipment demonstrations, including new [John Deere](https://www.constructionequipmentguide.com/john-deere-equipment-for-sale/) excavators, visited with Martin Equipment's integrated technology team and took advantage of a 15 percent discount on parts offered during the event. Guests also enjoyed complimentary food and beverages while networking with Martin Equipment personnel and supplier representatives.

A limited-edition firepit raffle raised money for **[Construction Angels](https://www.constructionequipmentguide.com/search/construction+angels)**, a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance and grief support to families who have lost a loved one in a construction-related accident.

The business began as Sam F. Martin Implement before becoming Martin Implement and later Martin Brothers Implement. When its construction division was established, the company adopted the Martin Equipment name it uses today.

Although the name has changed over the years, company officials said the Martin family's values, culture and commitment to customer relationships have remained constant.

Over the past century, Martin Equipment has grown alongside John Deere, adapting to changing customer demands and advances in equipment technology while continuing to invest in facilities, employee development and support services.

Today, the company supports modern construction and forestry fleets with a broad equipment portfolio. ![In response to International Harvester’s Farmall row crop tractor, the John Deere Model “C” was introduced. Following experimental models built in 1926 and 1927, changes were made and the first production in August 1927, produced 76 tractors. More improvements were made, but following a second production in the spring of 1928, Deere management was still not satisfied. By the fall of 1928, the new and improved Model “C” was renamed by Frank Silloway, sales manager of John Deere.
