Martinez Retires After 48 Years at Trico

Martinez worked right up to his last hour with his final job being an engine rebuild.

George Martinez, 70, the longest working employee of Trico Equipment Service LLC, has retired after 48 years of service.

Martinez started his career at Trico on March 10, 1965, at the age of 22. Founder, Joe Pustizzi Sr. hired Martinez, who had been working at Wheaton’s at the time as a mechanic and, according to Trico, he has been a hardworking and dedicated employee all these years.

Martinez worked right up to his last hour with his final job being an engine rebuild.
