Reno, Nev. – In the Silver Lot of the Las Vegas Convention Center, an excavator and a skid loader picked up large concrete chunks with a jaw crusher attachment – signaling to passersby that the crushing action was about to begin. MB America's crusher attachments smash another round of concrete debris and precast concrete at World of Concrete 2016
Last year, MB America crushed the World of Concrete 2015 event with its live crushing demonstrations. This year, at World of Concrete 2016, the company crushed for another record crowd of attendees.
“You have to see the MB crusher crush in person. There's no other way to describe how it works without seeing it for yourself,” said Max Ravazzolo, C.E.O. of MB America. “Once you know that the machine can crush through concrete and spit out the rebar, you will be so impressed that you'll start to wonder what areas of your job you can start crushing, where you can start saving some time, and when you can start adding more money back into your pockets.”
The company occupied an outside booth in the Silver Lot at the Las Vegas Convention Center, where more than half the booth was dedicated to the live crushing demonstrations. An excavator and a skid loader were equipped with the crushing attachments, showing the wide range products the company offers. The excavator-mounted attachment, the BF90, was crushing down to a 3-inch minus, while the skid-loader-mounted attachment, the MB-L120, was crushing down to a 1-inch minus.
The company also showed attendees how the crushing attachments are able to crush materials with rebar. Using an iron separator, the excavator-mounted attachment was equipped to remove rebar from the pile of crushed concrete and move rebar to the side of the work area – without the operator having to leave the cab of the excavator.
At the non-demo area, MB America featured two more excavator-mounted crusher attachments (BF70 and BF120), the largest skid-loader-mounted crusher attachment (MB-L200), and the latest skid-loader-mounted screening attachment (MB-LS140).
