James Ambrose, Locklear Boring, answered a few of his questions. Jackie and Jennifer Atkinson, J&J Truck Sales, Chattam, Va., were interested in the trucks, dozers and excavators up for sale. Trey Meekins finds the next bidder for the Kubota backhoe. Mark Butcher, Gaines & Company, Raleigh, N.C., came to buy the shoring equipment. Mickey Meekins welcomes attendees to the Locklear Boring Inc. auction and goes over the  details prior to the start of the sale. Charles Davis (L) and Todd Snyder, CCS Equipment, Youngsville, N.C., the Link-Belt excavator dealer of eastern North Carolina look over a few of the machines up for sale. Keith Davenport, Davenport Inc., Plymouth, N.C., needed a few excavators for spring work and thought the Kubota excavators would suit his needs. Jamie Snyder, Strickland Logging, Oak Hill, Ohio, came to bid on the John Deere 450 LGP dozers.
