Hoss Equipment Company has added Allison Monroe to its staff in a market development capacity.

Her responsibilities will be to help gain wider access to the heavy equipment markets in Brazil, Russia, India, China [BRIC] and Middle Eastern markets.

“The rising economic powers of BRIC nations account for 41 percent of the world’s inhabitants, occupy nearly a third of the world’s land mass, and possess huge natural resource deposits,” said Tom Bagnell, Hoss vice president of sales. “As their economies expand and their middle classes grow, there will be unprecedented new construction demand fueling requirements to harvest or mine those natural resources.

“Similarly, there is significant new construction and development underway in the Middle East. Going forward, Hoss wants to be the equipment solution of choice that helps optimize productivity and profitability on these huge projects. Serving as our manager of market development, we are looking for Allison to build on our already strong international presence through discovering and helping develop new opportunities in these important emerging markets.”

Monroe brings extensive international contacts and first-and knowledge of international markets to her new position.

Headquartered in Irving (Dallas), TX, Hoss offers solutions in equipment sales, long term rentals, parts and service to the heavy highway construction, mass excavation, landfill, aggregate, quarry, coal mining, and precious metals mining segments.

Hoss also is known for its Custom Rebuild program, a process that rebuilds used machines from the ground up while adhering to stringent manufacturers’ guidelines.
