A local Canadian news station is reporting that Woodstock, Ontario police say they've made an arrest in connection with several thefts from city construction sites.

A 34-year-old man faces 21 charges of fraud and possession of stolen property in connection with the case.

Police say his arrest came after officers executed a search warrant at two addresses in Woodstock – a residence on Oxford Street and another property on Tecumseh Street.

Those searches led police to $185,000 worth of allegedly stolen property, including several pieces of construction equipment and a movie projector.

Police say they have identified 17 potential victims in the case, and continue to investigate.
