Cabin fever hit Niagara Frontier Equipment Sales Inc. recently as it celebrated the arrival of spring with its annual open house. Located just 3 miles north of Lockport in Western New York, Niagara Frontier specializes in New Holland products.

The people at Niagara Frontier are really glad winter is behind them. “It was an extremely trying winter,” said Larry Waters, Niagara Frontier Equipment Sales Inc. sales manager. “We’re doing better than we expected, but we’re anxious for everyone to get outside.”

“It’s the first time in 20 years contractors, who usually operate year round, had to shut down in January and February,” said Charles Restivo Jr., president and owner of Niagara Frontier Equipment Sales Inc. “Despite the extremely cold winter, we’ve already had a lot of interest. We’re having the open house today to kick the season off.”

Over corned beef and cabbage, Niagara Frontier employees and customers had a chance to get to know each other better.

In operation since 1967, Niagara Frontier Equipment Sales Inc. covers eight counties in Western New York and the Southern Tier. Restivo said he owes his success to putting together a great sales and service team and providing that personal touch to his customers.

Waters said it is the company’s personalized approach and competent service and parts department that gets the customers in the door.

This year, Niagara Frontier Equipment Sales Inc. is adding the Polaris line of professional series vehicles. Drew Aloisi, Polaris Professional Series Zone sales manager, attended the Niagara Frontier open house. He said these machines are built for power. “The Polaris Professional Series machines are torque monsters. They’re built for safety and they deliver heavier towing, more pulling power and bigger load capacities.”
