Jesco, of South Plainfield, NJ, recently unveiled a new corporate logo and company slogan. The updated look incorporates a new, contemporary typeface and design along with the silhouette of a sprocket, which is enhanced by a metallic copper ink. The sprocket was included in the logo to tie it into the company’s main business of selling construction equipment. The new logo is both physically and philosophically linked to the company’s new slogan: “The Down-to-Earth Equipment People.”

According to Jon Robustelli, vice president Jesco, “We were long overdue in making this change. The new logo and slogan more clearly define who we are and what we do. Our company prides itself on close relationships with our customers and acute detail to the markets we serve. We think that “Down-to-Earth” in more than one way reflects how we are perceived out on the job site.”

Jesco offers the complete line of Deere construction and industrial equipment and a full line of accessory equipment including Geith buckets, Indeco hydraulic breakers, grapples and demolition tools plus more than 20 different skid steer attachments. To satisfy customer compaction needs, Jesco offers the full line of Bomag soil compactors and asphalt rollers with drum widths up to 84 in. (213 cm).

Jesco also boasts a large rental fleet. “We know that our customers may have a need for equipment on the spot,” stated Robustelli, “so we try to keep well stocked at all times, to suit those needs. If we don’t have what the customer wants at one store, we probably have it at another and can deliver it right away.”

Beyond the equipment itself, Robustelli knows that the company is only as good as the support it offers. “We build long-term relationships with the suppliers of the equipment we market. Our parts and service groups are made up of dedicated people who understand the importance of uptime and everyone goes out of their way to keep our customers up and running.”

Support equipment is important, too. Jesco’s tractor-trailers will haul anything they sell. Its product support vehicle fleet includes numerous service and lube trucks, all of which save the customers time, hassle and money.
