The National Utility Contractors Association is pleased to announce that NUCA of Ohio, which received its NUCA charter only a year ago, has received a 2008 NUCA/PAC award for its support of the organization’s advocacy goals. The presentation of the award took place during NUCA’s 2009 Washington Summit/Spring Board & Committee Meetings, May 18 to 20 at the Hotel Monaco in Alexandria, Va.

Each year, NUCA’s Political Action Committee — which has been in existence for more than three decades — honors those chapters and individuals whose involvement and contributions are exceptional in five different categories. This year, the Teamwork Award — which is presented to the NUCA chapter with the highest dollar amount contributed per contractor member — was won by NUCA of Ohio with $133.33 per contractor member.
