In its fourth year, the PA Gas Expo was held on June 26 in Indiana, Pa., at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex. The event included educational seminars and table top and outdoor equipment displays by industry suppliers, service providers and associations involved with shale oil and gas well development in Pennsylvania. Seminars and workshops covered topics such as workforce development, environmental best pactices, water quality and land leasing and financial issues. New this year was an outdoor demonstration event featuring material handling equipment put on by Manitou.

Developed as an educational and networking event and hosted by Renda Broadcasting and the Indiana County Center for Economic Operations, the PA Gas Expo is focused on opportunities resulting from the area’s development of Marcellus shale gas energy resources. Prior to the expo, exhibitors participated in an annual golf outing at the Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort in Blairsville
