Norris Sales, of Plymouth Meeting, PA, announced that it has taken on the HEK work platform line, including the MS 5000, MSHF and Promax — for either sale or rent.

The MS 5000 work platform is a double-mast unit that offers a deck length up to 60 ft. (18.3 m), a working mast height up to 330 ft. (100.6 m) and load capacity up to 12,100 lbs. (5,488 kg).

The MSHF and Promax are single-mast units with deck lengths up to 40 and 50 ft. (12.2 and 15.2 m), respectively; working mast heights up to 660 ft. (201.2 m); and load capacities of 4,400 and 6,600 lbs. (1,996 and 2,994 kg), respectively.

Platforms climb the mast powered by 220/240V three-phase motors that use the rack and pinion system. This enables the MS 5000 to climb or descend at a rate of 16 ft. (4.9 m) per minute, the MSHF at 23 ft. (7 m) per minute and the Promax at 36 ft. (11 m) per minute.

According to Don Zajick, president of Norris Sales, the company will deliver HEK work platforms to a job site by tractor trailer and will erect and dismantle the platforms there, typically with a rough-terrain material handling forklift. A factory-trained service technician also will be on site.

HEK, an Intervect company, is based in the Netherlands, and has more than 40 years of experience in developing and manufacturing mast climbing work platforms, transport platforms and material hoists.
