Vincent Ryan, president and owner of the Bobcat Companies of North Jersey, has recently announced the promotion of Patrick Barckett to the position of corporate vice president.

In this position, Barckett will continue to support the mission of the company in providing compact solutions to contractors needs.

Barckett joined the company in 1992 as a salesman at its original location in Lincoln Park. For the first number of years, Ryan and Barckett were a two-man sales team.

By 1999, the company expanded, moved to a larger facility located in Elmwood Park and opened a branch in Flanders. At this time, Barckett headed the sales department of five people. He was instrumental in helping the company grow to its present, state of the art facility in Totowa in August 2003. Barckett envisions continued growth for the company.

The Bobcat Companies of North Jersey, with locations in Totowa and Flanders, are the sole authorized dealers for the Bobcat Co. in the northern counties of New Jersey and Rockland County, NY.

The companies handle parts, sales, service and rentals on the full line of Bobcat products including skid steer loaders, excavators, backhoe loaders, Versa handlers, compact track loaders, and mini-track loaders as well as attachments for these units.

They also are dealers for the Towmaster and Pequea trailer lines.
