Payce Reynolds Named CEO of Earth Tool Company

Earth Tool Company LLC, manufacturer of HammerHead Mole trenchless products, has announced the promotion of Payce Reynolds to chief executive officer.

Reynolds formerly headed the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) division of HammerHead for three years and oversaw substantial growth in sales of the company's HDD accessories line of products, which along with the HammerHead Mole line of pneumatic piercing tools, are sold by Vermeer Manufacturing's worldwide dealership network.

"I am excited to step into the role of CEO of HammerHead," Reynolds said. "I look forward to moving the company forward and continuing our efforts to strengthen and grow our products and markets."

Reynolds' knowledge of both the HDD accessories and piercing tool technologies and markets will help continue to foster the company's long-term relationship with Vermeer Manufacturing Company and the Vermeer dealer distribution network and continue to grow the market for these products.

Additionally, Reynolds will lead the charge in continuing to expand HammerHead's success in the pipe rehabilitation market.

Also joining HammerHead are Jarrett Cowden, as senior vice president of sales and marketing, and Brian Metcalf, as vice president of international sales and business development. Both Cowden and Metcalf worked for Vermeer Manufacturing.

Cowden's other previous experience includes marketing and sales leadership positions at Exxon, Ditch Witch, Ingersoll Rand and Sherrill Tree.

He served Vermeer Manufacturing in Pella, Iowa, as vice president of sales and marketing, where he worked with Reynolds. He also co-founded Two Rivers Marketing in Des Moines, Iowa, where he served as president.

Prior to joining HammerHead, Metcalf held various global leadership responsibilities in marketing, sales and distribution management of Vermeer Manufacturing and Pella Corporation, including more than five years of operations in independent dealerships.

He is charged with leading the international sales group and developing new business opportunities worldwide.

Steve Sander has joined HammerHead as regional sales manager of the northwestern territory of North America. Based in Spokane, Wash., Sander will cover the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Alaska and the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta.

Sander brings four years of construction-related experience to the company, including two years as a sales representative of a Caterpillar dealership.

Alan Goodman has been promoted to western business manager of western North America from his position as regional sales manager of the south central territory of North America.

He will be responsible for business development, customer relations and overseeing business operations. Goodman brings approximately10 years of experience in the trenchless industry.

Will LeBlanc returns to HammerHead as south central territory manager. Based in Baton Rouge, La., LeBlanc will cover the states of Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado and western Tennessee.

LeBlanc brings 10 years of sales experience and has developed sales distribution with a leading manufacturer.
