As part of a series of four open house events at each of the company’s locations, Perimeter Bobcat held its annual Marietta, GA, branch open house and Bobcat equipment rodeo on June 18 and 19.
The event featured Bobcat and Ingersoll-Rand product displays and demonstrations, discounts on parts, hourly door prizes and other giveaways, Bob-Care clinics and an equipment rodeo. The Perimeter staff kept the crowd well fed, and with the help of several manufacturers’ reps, made sure the product demonstrations and other events rolled along smoothly.
The skid steer loader rodeo winner was Tony Hamil of Bobcat Grading & Hauling Co., Cumming, GA, who received a new set of Loegering tracks for his efforts. The mini-excavator winner, Shane Whittemore of Top Notch Construction & Grading, Marietta, GA, won a hydraulic clamp attachment for his low time.
The contestants in the rodeo events also were entered to win the use of a Bobcat Toolcat 5600 for one year, which will be awarded this fall at the conclusion of the company’s last open house of the year at its Lake City, GA, branch in October. According to Eric Peabody, Marietta branch manager, “the success of the two-day open house exceeded our expectations. I was happy with the attendance and appreciate everyone that turned out to join us for this event. It seemed to be a very positive experience for our guests.”
