Perini Building Co. Chair Wins Humanitarian Award

Construction Equipment Guide

The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce presented Dick Rizzo, Perini Building Co. chairman, with the 2002 Community Achievement Humanitarian Award.

Perini is credited for involvement with women’s and children’s aid organizations including the Women’s Development Center, Shade Tree Emergency Shelter for women and children, Girl Scouts of Frontier Council, and the Nevada Homeless Youth Shelter.

Perini is in the preconstruction stage of planning for a new Girl Scouts of Frontier Council headquarters. He has donated professional services, and is committed to building the facility at cost. The scouts will be the 2002 recipient of Perini’s annual golf tournament.
