PHOENIX Process Equipment Co. has appointed EESSCO, of Norwell, MA, as its exclusive sales representative for the aggregate market in the states of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire.

PHOENIX Process Equipment Co. was established in Pompano Beach, FL, in 1984 with a Department of Energy grant that helped in the development of the company’s initial technology, the separation of clean coal from coal refuse.

Through internal development and a series of strategic partnering relationships and joint ventures, PHOENIX has established a broad base of products and liquid/solid separation process technologies targeted at residuals and sludge dewatering and thickening, water clarification and filtration, and solids classification and separation — solutions for the handling of fines.

The broad range of PHOENIX products includes:

• belt filter presses;

• high-rate circular thickeners;

• hydrocyclone-screen separators;

• fluid bed density separators; and

• jigs.

Other services offered by the company include: automation and control design; electrical system design; facilities engineering; field support services; installation; operator training; replacement parts; startup services; and turnkey systems.

With the use of the PHOENIX product line offered by EESSCO, problems and expenses associated with washing fines in aggregate operations can be solved and reduced, according to both companies.

“We are very excited about offering New England quarry operators the fines solutions and money-saving approaches provided by the PHOENIX product line,” said Dick Vining, sales manager of EESSCO.
