BOSTON (AP) - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in finding a man who they say stole approximately $20,000 worth of materials from a Boston construction site.
The Boston Globe reports (http://bit.ly/1NMMyrU ) the theft was reported to police by a Moriarty Construction employee on Dec. 14.
Police say the burglar stole copper welding cable estimated to be worth ”in the area of $20,000’ from a site at 1 Nashua St.
The suspect is described as a white male who was pictured wearing a New England Patriots sweatshirt in three surveillance photos and a red striped shirt in a fourth.
Police say in a statement that they will ”stringently guard’ the identities of those who come forward anonymously with information regarding the investigation.
