After winning last week’s race at Pocono Raceway, Joey Logano took the usual celebratory burnout at Watkins Glen to new levels, and then used a Caterpillar Excavator to start the planned re-paving of the track.
When leader Kevin Harvick started to sputter out while running out of gas, Logano overtook him for the win:
Which prompted an intense celebratory burnout:
All was well, as Logan also won the honor of cleaning up after himself by being the first to dig into the pavement for the major re-pave of Watkins Glen.
