Landscape architects licensed in Florida now have an easy, convenient way to complete their new continuing education requirements, as RedVector.com has announced it has been approved as a Continuing Education Provider by the Florida Board of Landscape Architects. The board also approved more than 35 hours worth of RedVector.com online courses.

Beginning with the 2003 renewal deadline, more than 1,300 landscape architects licensed in Florida must complete 16 hours of continuing education for license renewal. RedVector.com is a leader in online continuing education for professionals in the engineering, architectural, building inspection, interior design, construction and land surveying industries.

RedVector.com applied for approval to the Florida Board of Landscape Architects after being repeatedly contacted by landscape architects looking for ways to complete their new continuing education requirements online. According to Chief Operating Officer Brent A. Craven, “We realized there was a need out there among landscape architects for easy, convenient and cost effective continuing education options. The profession isn’t served as adequately as some of the larger professions, but that doesn’t make their need any less. RedVector.com offers what most others do not, and that is what has earned our company the success we enjoy today.”

RedVector.com’s course library currently features more than 800 courses, written by more than 140 subject matter experts, many of who are university faculty and experienced professional engineers and architects. The Web site has attracted more than 50,000 users from 50 states and 14 countries. The company has been featured on CNN, WallStreetReporter.com and in more than 400 trade magazines, newspapers and industry journals. RedVector.com recently introduced Spanish Customer Service.

In addition to working with numerous state boards to make sure its courses are accepted for continuing education credit, RedVector.com has built close relationships with many prominent professional organizations and national universities, including Clemson University, the University of South Carolina’s Net Gen Learning Systems, the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), the American Institute of Constructors (AIC) and Professional Surveyor Magazine. RedVector.com also has an agreement with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
