Some of the key staff members at the Richmond Hill location (L-R) include Sam Albright, rental manager; Dan Dwyer, vice president/branch manager; and Jacob Holcomb, shop manager. The unique Mecalac line of machines are sold and serviced at the Richmond Hill branch. Paving machines for sale include Sakai and LeeBoy/Rosco products. Earthmoving machines available for sale or rent include Mecalac and Terex backhoes.

Reynolds-Warren Equipment Company, based in Forest Park, Ga., recently opened its second full-service location in the Savannah suburb of Richmond Hill, Ga.

The full-service branch is a two-story facility that includes six service bays, a complete parts stocking area, sales offices, parts counter and showroom area. The facility is visible and easily accessible to and from heavily traveled I-95.

Reynolds-Warren Equipment covers the entire state of Georgia with most of its product lines as a full-service dealer (sales, service, parts and rentals). The company's diverse lineup includes LeeBoy, Rosco, Sakai, Dynapac, Mecalac, Wacker-Neuson, Crafco, Midland, RoadWidener, MenziMuck, Alamo, as well as other quality equipment manufacturers.

Dan Dwyer, vice president of Reynolds-Warren, said that the company opened the full-service facility in Richmond Hill to provide customers in the southern and eastern portion of Georgia a faster response time for their service and parts needs.

“For certain lines we carry, we'll be able to serve the coastal area of South Carolina and Northern Florida from this location and be able to handle our customers' used equipment needs, especially our LeeBoy machines, with increased efficiency from a second location,” he said.

Reynolds-Warren provides field service and relies on its main office in the Atlanta area for any supplemental field service work required.

“As one of the leading suppliers of commercial paving equipment in the southeast, municipalities and contractors have welcomed us to the area and we've been able to shorten our response time for our regular customers,” Dwyer said.

The Richmond Hill facility currently houses a full complement of parts, and according to Dwyer, the company is currently assessing what a comprehensive stock would look like for the customers in this area. But he added, “if we don't have it in stock here, we can quickly get it from the Atlanta store.”

Dwyer knows the market very well at the company's main office; however, he stated that he thinks the rental market may wind up being stronger at the Richmond Hill facility.
