The new Ring Power Pompano Beach facility has opened for business.
The branch deals exclusively in allied products and services related to crane and lift truck industries, non-Caterpillar paving equipment and air compressors. Overseeing the respective divisions at the facility are Regional Managers Steve Ake (crane) and Chuck Hathaway (lift trucks).
“We’re very excited about the new facility,” said Hathaway. “It helps consolidate our resources and provides an easily accessible location to better serve customers needs.”
Construction began on the new facility, located at 2700 North Powerline Road, April of this year. Ring Power combined its Pompano Beach Lift Trucks branch (formerly located on Blount Road) and Crane division branch office at the new site. The new facility is located on approximately 5 acres (2 ha), and features a 52,449 sq. ft. (4,900 sq m) facility that includes 13,807 sq. ft. (1,300 sq m) of office space plus an 8,671 sq. ft. (805 sq m) parts warehouse. The service shops includes six lift truck bays and nine crane bays. Constructing the new facility required the demolition of the old Ring Power Crane building.
The general contractor for this job was Stellar, a Jacksonville-based company.
