More than 3,400 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros.' multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Denver, Colo., on Aug. 4, 2016.

Bidders came from 44 countries, including 47 U.S. states.

Approximately 61 percent of the equipment in the auction was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Bolivia, India and New Zealand. Online bidders purchased 57 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

More than 2,150 equipment items and trucks were sold in the auction, including more than 60 compactors; more than 30 excavators; more than 30 wheel loaders; 30 skid steers; more than 15 loader backhoes; more than 100 truck tractors; more than 225 trailers; and more.
