Continuing its nine-month, nationwide tour, The Road Connection truck will be making stops in a number of cities including Washington, D.C., Nashville, Tenn., Savage, Minn., and Kalamazoo, Mich. At each location, members of The Road Connection team will be advocating for better roads by educating people about the need for a long-term highway bill.
Immediately following the conclusion of the World of Asphalt / AGG1 trade show in Charlotte, N.C., The Road Connection will be making its way to the nation’s capitol to participate in the second annual Rally for Roads event, held on March 20, 2012. Workers from all facets of the road construction industry and its suppliers will rally together in Washington, D.C., to try to impact federal transportation policies.
From Washington, D.C., The Road Connection will take its message to the C&D World Exhibition and Conference in Nashville, Tenn. The show will be held in the Nashville Convention Center from March 25 to 27.
The Road Connection team will then set course for Savage, Minn. to participate in an event held by Road Machinery & Supplies Co., (RMS) on April 5. Headquartered near the Twin Cities, RMS has grown to become one of the largest dealers in the United States, with 12 branch offices.
From Minnesota, The Road Connection campaign will travel to Kalamazoo, Mich., to take part in the Michigan Aggregates Association (MAA) Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting and Showcase will be held on April 17 and 18, at the Kalamazoo Radisson Hotel.
