Robert Russell Named as Carolina Tractor CFO, VP

Robert Russell has joined Carolina Tractor & Equipment Co. as chief financial officer and vice president of finance.

Prior to joining Carolina Tractor, Russell was the CFO/finance director of Barloworld, a multinational equipment dealer with U.S. operations focused on material handling and the Caterpillar dealer for South Africa.

Russell started at Carolina Tractor July 30 and is based at the corporate headquarters in Charlotte, N.C.

Along with his leadership roles in the area of accounting and finance, Russell’s more than 25 years of experience include information technology, distribution, customer service, and mergers and acquisitions.

President Ed Weisiger Jr. said, “Robert brings skills and traits that closely align with Carolina Tractor’s business and values. His strong finance and information systems background will be key to our company’s ongoing growth and success.”
