R.W. Moore Equipment Honors Long Time Employees With Rings, Diamonds

R.W. Moore Equipment Co. honored its long-term employees Feb. 3 with gold rings.

After 10 years, an employee receives a ring. With every additional five years of service, they receive a diamond to be placed inside the ring.

Receiving his sixth diamond this year was Wilbur Mitchell, who has worked for R.W. Moore Equipment since 1962. Before that, he worked for R.W. Moore Grading Co. Inc.

The ceremony has been held each year since 1987. To date, 48 current employees have received a gold ring.

In addition to Mitchell, the honorees included: Judy Johnson, 35; Terry Moore, 35; Randy Morgan, 30; Melvin Moore, 30; Larry Dennis, 30; Carlton Smith, 25; Alton Murray, 20; Bill Sumner, 15; John Ellis, 15; Frank Love, 15; Marvin Prince, 15; Donald Warren, 15; Barry Jefferies, 10; and James Britt Jr., 10.

R.W. Moore has six locations in eastern North Carolina.
