Rick Munter, auctioneer, Sales Auction Company LLC, stayed high and dry while he moved from lot to lot via the comfort of his mobile auction booth. Bill Maggi, Italia Fence Company, Suffield, Conn., was accompanied by his protégé, six-year old son Vincent, at the auction. Bob Munter (L), ring man for Sales Auction Company, and Sam Sales, owner of Sales Auction Company, were hard at work seeking out the highest bidder for each lot. Chris Relihan (L), Connecticut Mulch, Enfield, Conn., joined John Sheldon, West Suffield, Conn., for the day to examine the various lots of equipment for sale. Sales Auction Company had more than 400 on-site registered bidders and 240 internet bidders, which made this sale their largest yet. These excavators were among almost 550 lots of heavy equipment, trucks and trailers sold at this huge public auction. Eleven-year old Jacob Harbaugh from Enfield, Conn. found the best view in the house. Joe Kazimir (L),  South Windsor, Conn., and Craig Brown, East Haddam, Conn., found some time in their busy schedules at Kaz Equipment LLC to attend the weekend sale.

Sales Auction Company LLC held an auction in Windsor Locks, Conn., on Oct. 1. The sale featured equipment from the retiring owner of Dufford Construction Company and a complete liquidation for AFS Construction.

With 400 on-site bidders and 240 internet bidders vying for nearly 550 lots, this was Sales Auction Company’s largest sale to date.
