Schlouch Incorporated’s projects for the spring and summer of 2013 cover a wide geographic area from the Pocono Mountains to suburban Philadelphia and include a diversity of commercial, retail, office and residential projects. Here are the projects keeping Schlouch’s teams active:
Berks County
Muhlenberg Township Authority selected Schlouch Incorporated to provide sanitary repair to Spring Valley Road in Muhlenberg Township, Pa. Schlouch installed new sanitary sewer and paving at the site. Work was completed in April 2013. Forino Company has named Schlouch Incorporated to prepare the site for The Reserve at Spring Pointe, an 8-building apartment complex on 15 acres on Old Pricetown Road in Temple, Muhlenberg and Alsace Townships, Berks County, Pa. Montgomery Acquisitions Co. LLC is the developer of the project. Schlouch is providing clearing, grubbing, sediment/erosion control, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, roads, building pads and curbs.
Lehigh County
Speedwell Construction Inc. named Schlouch Incorporated to prepare the 1.5-acre site for a CVS retail facility in Coopersburg, Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County, Pa. Schlouch is providing clearing, grubbing, survey, stakeout, demolition, sediment/erosion control, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, building pad, concrete, curbs, paving, landscaping and seeding.
Luzerne County
Sand Springs Development Corporation has contracted Schlouch Incorporated to handle paving requirements for the 2.1 acre parking lot at Sand Springs Clubhouse in Butler Township, Luzerne County, Pa. Schlouch is providing paving services including parking lot patching, overlay and pavement markings.
Montgomery County
Wohlsen Construction has selected Schlouch Incorporated to prepare a 5.27-acre site for East Faculty Housing at The Hill School in Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pa. Schlouch is providing clearing, grubbing, survey, stakeout, demolition, sediment/erosion control, blasting, rock removal, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, roads, building pad, concrete, curbs and paving.
Towamencin Retail Development LLC named Schlouch Incorporated to prepare a 2.4-acre site for the commercial pad for Chick-Fil-A in Hatfield, Towamencin Township, Montgomery County, Pa. Schlouch provided survey, stakeout, sediment/erosion control, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, roads, building pad, concrete, curbs and paving.
M. A. Curcillo Inc. selected Schlouch Incorporated to prepare the site for a 51-unit student housing project on York Road, Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery County, Pa. Developer of the project is 501 York Road Partners. Schlouch is providing clearing, grubbing, survey, stakeout, demolition, sediment/erosion control, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, roads, building pad, concrete building footers, walls, piers and slabs, curbs, paving, landscaping and seeding.
The Hill School named Schlouch Incorporated to prepare a new outdoor athletic complex and provide sitework for Colbath Field at the school in Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pa. Schlouch is installing an irrigation and drainage system for a natural turf soccer field and constructing two artificial turf fields and an outdoor running track. Work will include clearing, grubbing, survey, stakeout, demolition, blasting, sediment/erosion control, earthwork, storm sewers, water line installation, concrete, curbs, paving and seeding.
Douglass Equities LLC has selected Schlouch Incorporated to prepare the building pad for a bank in Douglass Town Center on County Line Road, Douglass Township, Montgomery County, Pa. Schlouch is providing survey, stakeout, demolition, sediment/erosion control, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, building pad, curbs, paving and seeding.
Northampton County
Commerce Construction Co. LP named Schlouch Incorporated to prepare a site at Majestic Bethlehem Center Lot 2 in Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County, Pa. Schlouch is providing clearing, grubbing, survey, stakeout, sediment/erosion control, earthwork, storm sewers and seeding.
CMC Development Corporation selected Schlouch Incorporated to prepare a residential site for Tuskes Homes Maple Shade Estates. The 54-acre site is located in Bethlehem and Palmer Townships, Northampton County, Pa., and will have 78 building lots. Schlouch is providing clearing, grubbing, survey, stakeout, blasting, rock removal, earthwork, sediment/erosion control, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, roads, building pads, curbs, paving and seeding. Schlouch will provide approximately 24,500 ft. (7,468 m) of pipe work and approximately 150,000 cu. yds. (114,683 cu m) of earthwork. Work will be completed in Spring 2014.
Serfass Construction Company named Schlouch Incorporated to provide 17,700 sq. ft. (1,644 sq m) of concrete work for Broad Street Medical Office Building in Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pa. The project is being developed by KNK Associates. Schlouch is providing concrete building footers, walls, piers and slabs for the building.
Blue Rock Construction selected Schlouch Incorporated to prepare a 12.5-acre site for a cold storage warehouse for Trader Joe’s. The project, being developed by IDS Real Estate Group, is on Silvercrest Road, East Allen Township, Northampton County, Pa. Schlouch provided survey, stakeout, sediment/erosion control, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, concrete, curbs and paving.
Stone Creek Development Corporation chose Schlouch Incorporated to prepare the site for 37 single-family homes in Upper Nazareth Township, Northampton County, Pa. Tuskes Homes is the developer of the project. Schlouch is providing survey, stakeout, sediment/erosion control, rock removal, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, roads, curbs, paving and seeding.
Serfass Construction Company has named Schlouch Incorporated to provide 70,000 sq. ft. (6,503 sq m) of concrete work for Phillips Feed Warehouse addition on Heckman Road, Easton, Northampton County, Pa. The project is being developed by Phillips & Phillips. Schlouch is providing concrete building footers, walls, piers and slabs for the building.
Schuylkill County
Fanelli Group Properties LLC picked Schlouch Incorporated to prepare the site for the Villages of Deer Lake at Cinema and Hollywood Boulevards, in Orwigsburg, West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County, Pa. Schlouch is providing clearing, grubbing, sediment/erosion control, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, roads, concrete, curbs, paving and seeding.
L&K Construction selected Schlouch Incorporated to provide sitework for expansion of a Penske commercial trucking facility on Keystone Boulevard, Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pa. Schlouch is providing clearing, grubbing, survey, stakeout, sediment/erosion control, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, building pad and seeding.
HRI Inc. selected Schlouch Incorporated to make PaDOT improvements to 4.5 mi. (7.2 km) of Route 61 in Deer Lake, West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County, Pa. Schlouch is providing blasting, earthwork and storm sewers.
