Scott Construction Equipment Unveils New Tenn. Facility

On Friday, Feb. 20, Scott Construction Equipment Company held an open house for its new 22,900-sq.-ft. (2,127 sq m) facility in Memphis, Tenn.

Approximately 350 people attended the open house celebration, which included food, door prizes, tours of the facility and live music from the Chris Scott Band.

Manufacturers, including Volvo, Link-Belt Crane, Champion, Talbert, Superior, JLG, Pemberton, BTI (Breaker Technology) and Wicker also were present.

“The event was truly a celebration shared with many loyal customers,” said Clint Bailey, Memphis branch manager of Scott Construction Equipment Company. “With this new facility, the Scott family has made a dedicated investment in the Memphis market providing us with a modern shop and parts warehouse, a beautiful office environment, and a spacious yard area to efficiently provide the parts, service, sales and rental support that our customers deserve.”

Located at 4515 Pidgeon Roost Road, the new facility includes a shop, parts storage area, offices, over-hangs and eight drive through service bays, equipped with two 5-ton (4.5 t) overhead cranes. It also has five service trucks to assist customers.
