Shanahan Equipment Company expanded to a new location in Reno, NV, bringing the number of company locations to seven.

Shanahan Equipment distributes construction, mining and utility equipment through its existing facilities in northern and central California and is the authorized distributor of Komatsu equipment in these areas.

“Because of the construction boom throughout Nevada, the demand for equipment has increased,” said Gale Plummer, vice president and general manager of Shanahan Equipment. “We are pleased to be part of Nevada’s growth with our new facility.”

The Reno branch is a full service location, providing new and rental machines, an extensive parts inventory, factory trained technicians and field services with fully equipped trucks.

Shanahan Equipment Company is a part of Cummins West Inc., which has been selling and servicing Cummins powered products in California since 1934.
