SSC will host its free monthly trenchless technology training session for construction professionals Oct. 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event will take place at SSC corporate headquarters located at 2001 W. North Lane, Suite A, in Phoenix.

This month’s session topic is vacuum technology and it will provide step-by-step instruction on how to use this technology to expose underground utilities.

The session includes an actual onsite potholing demonstration.

Participants must register by Sept. 29.

Other upcoming training seminars include sessions on “Large Diameter Auger Boring Projects” on Nov. 6, “Dealing With Government Agencies That Won’t Let You Pothole Their Roads” on Dec. 4 and “SBU-Small Boring Unit Gaining Ground” on Jan. 8, 2009.
