Joey Logano Begins Watkins Glen Paving Project Using Caterpillar Excavator

After winning last week’s race at Pocono Raceway, Joey Logano took the usual celebratory burnout at Watkins Glen to new levels.

After winning last week’s race at Pocono Raceway, Joey Logano took the usual celebratory burnout at Watkins Glen to new levels, and then used a Caterpillar Excavator to start the planned re-paving of the track.

When leader Kevin Harvick started to sputter out while running out of gas, Logano overtook him for the win:

Which prompted an intense celebratory burnout:

All was well, as Logan also won the honor of cleaning up after himself by being the first to dig into the pavement for the major re-pave of Watkins Glen.
