Construction Equipment Guide

The Terex CMI TC360 texturing/curing machine from Terex Roadbuilding features a flexible design that can be equipped with a variety of drive systems, different curing methods and optional equipment to meet any contractor need.

A 36-in. (91.4 cm) deep, truss-type, tubular steel mainframe sets the base machine width at 30 ft. (9.1 m), but contractors can equip the TC360 to fit paving applications ranging from 24 to 60 ft. (7.3 to 18.3 m) wide.

Customers can choose from one of three drive systems — rubber-tire, two-track or four-track — to meet market needs. The standard four-track drive maximizes machine versatility.

Hydraulic power provides up to 135-degree steering of the four tracks for on-site maneuverability. For site-to-site transport, the tracks can be positioned so the TC 360 can be driven on/off the trailer.

The TC360 delivers either transverse or longitudinal curing and texturing. Transverse texturing/curing is accomplished simultaneously through an independently adjustable carriage track attached to the machine’s mainframe bottom member. The carriage has a 10-ft. (3.1 m) wide comb to fit customer needs. An available hydraulically adjustable comb patch performs longitudinal texturing.

The TC360’s curing compound distribution system features a 300-gal. (1,135 L) oval storage/circulation tank. Independently flow-adjustable, no-drip spray nozzles allow operators to direct the curing compound where it’s needed. Wind hoods reduce spray drift, so the compound goes where it is intended.

The TC360’s operator’s platform delivers unobstructed, 360-degree visibility of the machine and job site. The machine is powered by a 58-hp (43.3 kW) diesel engine, and the base unit weighs in at 18,000 lbs. (8,165 kg).
