Tecman, a manufacturer of pedestal booms in Europe, had introduced its Quarry-Pro range of hydraulic pedestal booms into North America.

The Quarry-Pro range, which has been selling in Europe for the past five years, features a standard slew ring with 350-degree rotation, electronic pilot control systems, variable displacement axial piston pumps, excavator-type rotary frame and boom structures that are purpose built for the harsh quarry and mine working environments.

Horizontal ranges cover 10 to 45 ft. (3 to 13.7 m) and will support a hydraulic hammer with the capability of 750 to 12,000-ft./lb. (3,336 to 53,376 N) impact energy class.

Tecman’s custom-design facility, with the ability to custom-build boom systems to adapt to all types of crushers including jaw, gyratory, impact and portable plants, will be immediately available to all North American customers and dealers.

The slew ring rotation system will be covered by a three-year warranty.
