Penn-Jersey Machinery has hired Joe Tereskiewicz as service manager of its Somerville, NJ, branch.

Tereskiewicz comes to Penn-Jersey Machinery with 33 years of experience in the heavy-equipment industry.

“I am very excited to be at Penn Jersey. I always felt that the Service Department makes the repeated sales to the customer by giving outstanding service. This means performing repairs in a timely manor and being fairly priced,” said Tereskiewicz.

He started his career working as a heavy equipment mechanic’s helper in 1973 for George Harms Construction. He then moved from shop technician to road technician.

When Hedco bought the dealership, Tereskiewicz became shop foreman and this carried over when Trico purchased the dealership.

In September 2000, Tereskiewicz was hired as service manager of Powerco.

Penn-Jersey Machinery is the dealer for Volvo construction equipment, Cedarapids pavers, Hypac compaction equipment, Tamrock drills, and NPK hammers. Takeuchi products are offered at the company’s New Jersey locations. Penn-Jersey Machinery has locations in Deptford, and Somerville, NJ, and Lionville, PA.
